We spent Easter Sunday afternoon with some friends whose kids happen to have a very fun car. Jack instantly signed up for driving lessons…..

Today is my (Anne’s) birthday, so of course I find myself thinking about all that has happened in the last year. It’s amazing to think that this time last year we were awaiting Jack’s arrival and now he’s a crawling, playing, “talking” little boy about to celebrate his own birthday! It’s been a wonderful year. Can’t wait to see what happens in this next one.

Jack is 11 months old now so he’s been working on transitioning from a formula-filled bottle to a milk-filled cup for a couple months…building up to the big transition when he turns one. The good news is, sippy cups can be really fun toys. The bad news is, some boys–like Jack–don’t like to drink out of them at all. So thank goodness for cups with straws! After many fruitless attempts at the sippy cup, we finally got Jack some cups with straws, and today he drank his entire cup of milk for the first time. Yahoo!
